Rosie's place in The Sun

rosie-jones-7-3.jpgRosie Jones from Sunbury is The Sun newspaper's latest Page 3 girl - but she's worried what her old teachers will think.

"I'm worried they'll be ashamed", said the 18-year-old who formerly attended St Ignatius School and St Paul's Catholic College, before quickly emphasising she's "100% comfortable and at ease" with her new career.

She admits her older brother and father are having more difficulty coming to terms with her vocation than her mother and sister, but her boyfriend Kane, a builder from Stanwell who she met at St Paul's is "proud".

Rosie, of Sunbury Court Road, said: "My brother gets really angry about it and, although my dad is slowly coming round to the idea and says he won't stop me, he's not very happy.

"But my mum is really pleased, the response I've had from my friends has been good, although I don't know what people say behind my back. I do think they realise it's not at all sleazy and completely different to what you'd would expect."

Rosie has plans to go to study criminology at university and insists she has no intention of becoming a footballer's wife.

She added: "I'm not interested in the lifestyle associated with it at all, you know going to all the parties and trying to get a footballer. I just really enjoy the work and doing the photoshoots and meeting the other girls. They are all very pleasant and down-to-earth and there's no sniping."

It's easy to understand why a teenage girl would be attracted to the lifestyle - next month, for example, Rosie is flying to Ibiza with a photographer and six other girls for a photoshoot.

For The Sun alone she is doing two photoshoots per month, earning £500 per time, and she has also done work for several mens' magazines, including Front and Nuts.

Rosie is no stranger to modelling work, having featured in magazines and catalogues in her early teens. Her passion for the industry was reignited last year when she saw the TV programme Glamour Girls, and subsequently sent in some shots to an agency.

Even the first time she was asked to go topless held no fears.

She said: "The photographer was a woman and the session was held at her house, so it wasn't embarrassing. It just feels quite natural. I never really think about who could be looking at me and how many of them there are. It's every glamour model's ambition to be a Page 3 girl and I'm grateful to have been given the opportunity."

Rosie didn't even have to work hard to get that opportunity, revealing she stays in shape by scoffing sweets and chocolate and doing little exercise.

She added: "I keep meaning to go to the gym more regularly but I never really get round to it. Both my mum and dad are slim so I guess it's in the genes."

We'd like to hear from you.
